UNION CO., KY (WFIE) - You can head to the 42nd annual Corn Festival in downtown Morganfield this weekend.
This year's theme centers on the 50th reunion of the 1965 Union County High School graduation class - the school's first.
There will be a parade down Main Street, crowning of the Ms. Corn Festival, carnival rides and plenty of food.
Members of the 1965 class will be honored.
"I think it's a great honor for the Lions Club to ask us to be the Grand Marshals, the whole class, everybody couldn't make it but the ones that will be here are excited about it and we're glad to be here," said Morganfield Mayor Dickie Berry.
This year's Golden Kernel Award winner is the former, long-time Union County High School Principal - Dick Vincent.
The festival continues through Saturday night.
