PRINCETON, IN (WFIE) - Princeton crews will soon be installing new wireless security cameras in a number of parks across the city.
The camera will give officers 24/7 access to see what's happening in the city's parks.
The installation is part of an effort to prevent everything from vandalism to assaults.
Police will be able to monitor the cameras through their cars and from their iPads.
Police Chief William George says the cameras are small but the impact will be huge.
"We had a little incident not too long ago, actually one of the buildings got hit over there by the new theatre, and if we would of had cameras at that time we probably would of been able to find out who did it," said George.
The cameras should be installed in the next two to three weeks.
