Dale Fall Festival kicks off

DALE, IN (WFIE) -

The 48th Annual Dale Fall Festival kicked off Wednesday, and all of the money raised will be donated to the town.

The festival brings food booths, carnival rides, and much more to the town’s park.

Some of the park wouldn’t even be there if it wasn’t for the festival.

Committee member Nathan Brittingham says they have donated more than $600,000 to Dale. He knows that doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s been able to buy things the town needed.

The festival continues through Saturday.

The bill calls for tougher work requirements for SNAP recipients, known as food stamps. It could cause millions of Americans to lose benefits. So, what would...
