Driver arrested after hit and run crash on Evansville’s west side

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Evansville Police arrest a driver after a hit and run crash. 

It happened around 3 p.m. Monday at 11th and Delaware. 

Police say 32-year-old Clifford Scraper ran a stop sign at that intersection and hit the front of another car - then took off.

While trying to get away, police say Scraper ran another stop sign - this time crashing into another car.

The impact sent both vehicles into the front yard of a home. 

Scraper was arrested and charged with a hit and run.
