Evansville man charged with dealing meth

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

An Evansville man is accused of dealing methamphetamine.

Police say they stopped 29-year-old Sean Daugherty at Maryland and Heidelbach for riding his bicycle on the wrong side of the road.

Police say Daugherty threw his bike in the air and started to walk away, but then turned back around and walked toward officers.

According to police, there was a metal box on the ground beside his bicycle.

We’re told officers found several baggies with meth inside and one baggie of marijuana.

Daugherty is charged with dealing meth and possession.
