SPENCER CO., IN (WFIE) - The Lincoln State Park Amphitheatre is currently undergoing renovations.
But once it opens in the fall, officials are hoping for new crowds to see their new acts.
Normally, the theater shows "Abraham Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale." This fall, Rolling Stones and Beatles tribute bands will take the stage.
This is part of a new effort by the state's tourism department to bring more people into the state park.
Starting next year, there will be at least 12 acts for people to come and see.
Organizers say the regular play will still be shown, but this will just give more people a chance to see the park.
