According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the Pennyrile Parkway should be officially changed to I-69, up to the Henderson bypass, late this year.

On Thursday, there will be an I-69 Industry Alliance meeting.

That meeting will discuss how the area can prepare for the impact the interstate will have.

The meeting is open to the public and starts at 11:30 a.m. at Madisonville Community College.
