Jasper Utility Service Board adds $50K to Beaver Lake project

JASPER, IN (WFIE) - The Jasper Utility Service Board has agreed to give $50,000 to help raise the water level of Beaver Lake.

We're told residents will have raised $140,000 by the end of the week.

The board also approved the project, but it will need city council approval too.

Residents said an engineering oversight caused the lake water to drop a foot.
