OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) - Brescia University and the Kentucky Innovation Network are partnering to teach people how to be entrepreneurs.
The class, called "CO-STARTERS," is now accepting students for the fall.
It's open to anyone interested in starting their own business.
Joe Berry, Vice President of Entrepreneurship for the Economic Development Corporation, says this class is also a pool of people who could potentially open up their startup in Owensboro.
"It helps create a pipeline for entrepreneurs but it also helps build that eco system that we want and when you build that eco system you're going to be a community that's much more to talent," he said. "If you become much more attractive to talent, you're going to have the workforce that you need to grow the economy," he said.
This is the second year for the class.
Berry says last year was successful. He's hoping that continues this year.
