DUBOIS CO., IN (WFIE) - For the second year in a row, more than $1 million will be cut from the budget in Dubois County.
County Council President Greg Kendall says the budget was originally close to $10 million, but they were able to cut it down to $8 million.
He says the $1.7 million cut comes after a $1.3 million cut last year.
Kendall says there will be no tax raises for next year, but they still have to approve the budget.
He expects they'll do that in their September meeting.
