*First Alert Weather Day Friday; Strong to severe thunderstorms through about midnight
*Slight risk of severe storms: more rain, localized flooding, damaging winds with an isolated tornado possible mainly this Friday evening
*Decreasing rain chances this weekend, drier and less humid start of next week

TONIGHT: FIRST ALERT for strong to severe thunderstorms with isolated tornado risk (5%) through mid-evening. Most storms move out by midnight. Peak risk timing for RVA part of the state 6-10pm. Lows near 70. (Rain chance near 100%). Localized flooding risk as well.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny with a few scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly during the late afternoon and evening and best chance eastern Virginia, where a "marginal" risk for severe continues from SPC. First Alert Weather Day due to this chance mainly eastern VA. Highs in the upper 80s. (Rain Chance: 40%)
