EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Three companies presented their plans for the evolution of downtown Evansville to various city officials on Friday.
The plans concentrated on the incoming convention hotel, IU medical center, and the future of Tropicana moving on land.
The last time a master plan was made was in 2001. Kelly Coures with the Department of Metropolitan Development says it's long overdue.
Coures says the goal is to pick a company and award on contract at Tuesday's redevelopment commission.
