Boonville HS students give gym facelift

BOONVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Boonville High School students got their hands dirty Wednesday as they helped spruce up their school's gym.

The goal is to bring pride back to the school by giving their gym a facelift. The students painted the walls with their school's colors.

In the next week, Orange Moon Art Studio will come in and paint new murals.

Students have spent the last several months fundraising for the project by selling t-shirts.

"Everyone's excited about it, we sold t-shirts and everything, everybody has been really involved, the volleyball team, the wrestling team, it's been awesome," said Boonville High School Senior Taylor Miles. "I'm so excited, and I'm excited that it's just in time for my senior year."

The project is still on track to be complete before the start of this school year.
