Union Co. dispatcher honored for help in child sex abuse case

UNION CO., KY (WFIE) -

A Union County dispatcher was recently honored for her help in a child sex abuse case.

Kyla Ford was honored with a plaque thanking her for her assistance in going above and beyond normal dispatcher duties.

The Union County 911 Director tells us Morganfield Police wouldn't be able to open the case on June 27 without her help.

Ford has been a dispatcher in Union County for the past two years.
