EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Little Caesars is on a mission to feed over 800 people in need in the Tri-State.
Over 300 meals were served Monday at the Evansville Rescue Mission.
The Little Caesars Love Kitchen was cooking pizzas fresh on site and the staff served meals to those at the mission and several groups of local kids.
The company mascots were also on hand.
Ronda Stothers, the franchise owner, said it was a great opportunity to teach her staff about serving the community.
"I want them to understand the concept of giving back, the concept of taking care of your community because it's the most important thing that we do," said Stothers. "Each one of us on a daily basis in any way that we can."
The Little Caesars Love Kitchen will be at the Salvation Army Tuesday, and they are expecting to serve over 500 meals.
