Newburgh leaders debate future of historical trolley

NEWBURGH, IN (WFIE) -

Discussions are underway on the future of Newburgh's historical trolley.

According to our media partner Warrick Publishing, the trolley is in need of both mechanical and cosmetic repairs.

City leaders say it would cost $7500 to fix it.

They're also looking into purchasing a new one.

A committee was assigned to look into the options.

They will present ideas to council on Wednesday, July 22.

The council is expected to vote on a plan.
