USI trustees approve tuition increase

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Tuition is going up at the University of Southern Indiana.

The trustees approved the increase during Thursday's regular board meeting.

An in-state undergrad can expect to pay $6 more per credit hour next year and an additional $7 more per credit hour the year after that.

USI is also set to build a new $2.5-million welcome center. That project will be funded through private gifts and USI's Special Projects Reserves.
