Henderson Co. Public Library obtains 3-D printer

HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE) -

The Henderson County Public Library now has a 3-D printer.

Right now, it's not for public use, but library officials say that will likely change at some point.

It's used for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math programming.

It's also for graphic design and coding.

It can print plastic, nylon and wood products.

Starting in the fall, there will be new programs for teens centered around the 3-D printer.
