Condition of Henderson beating victim improves

HENDERSON, KY (WFIE) -

The investigation continues into a stabbing and beating in Henderson. 

It happened Sunday night near the corner of Sutton and Wilson Drive. 

22-year-old Marcus Bailey told police a man stabbed him several times in the arm and side.

Officers later found 50-year-old William Overton, just one street down, lying in his front yard with head injuries. 

He is now in fair condition at IU Health Methodist in Indianapolis. 

Police say detectives will be heading there to speak with him before they make any arrests.
