KWC receives over $6.2 million in gifts

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

Kentucky Wesleyan College received more than $6.2 million in gifts last school year. 

It's the highest number in over a decade.

President Bart Darrell wants the number to continue to grow.

He attributes the success to people recognizing the importance and value of a Kentucky Wesleyan degree.

    Surveillance cameras captured someone opening fire at a gas station in Jasper. Police are looking for one of the people they said opened fire on Friday night, while the other is still in a hospital.
