OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) - The "Party at The Pier" kicks off with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, July 3 at 7:00 p.m.
Located off the Owensboro Convention Center back terrace, the platform from the former Executive Inn Showroom Lounge has been transformed into The Pier.
Owensboro Mayor Ron Payne and City Commissioners Bob Glenn, Pam Smith-Wright, Mayor Pro Tem Jeff Sanford, and Convention Center General Manager, Dean Dennis will be there for the ribbon cutting ceremony. There will be live music featuring Heath & Molly at 7:30 p.m. for the Friday After 5 Don Moore “Party at The Pier.”
Live music will continue every Friday on The Pier as part of Friday After 5.
The Pier will be used for events in the future and may be booked through the Owensboro Convention Center.
