Fmr. Fairfield Memorial Hospital workers accused of forging prescriptions

FAIRFIELD, IL (WFIE) -

Two former Fairfield Memorial Hospital employees are in hot water.

Police say 43-year-old Bryan Mitchell and 44-year-old Melissa Krumreich are accused of forging prescriptions. Mitchell is the former Information System's Director. Krumreich is a former ER nurse.

Investigators believe the two illegally got phentermine, a diet pill.

The two were arrested Thursday and taken to jail on a $1,000 bond.
