(NBC) - A new device may help people who are blind "see" by using their tongues!
The FDA has cleared the way for a company to market the BrainPort v100.
It's a device that's worn like glasses, but with a video camera mounted on top and a sensor that touches the user's tongue.
The camera converts images into vibrations on the tongue. People can sense the location and size of objects by learning what different vibrations mean.
