Here are the latest food inspection reports (6/4) from the Vanderburgh County Health Department as submitted to WFIE:

Violations:

Food Market & Tobacco Shop & Accessories, 1009 S. Kentucky Ave. 1 non-critical violation: remove unnecessary items and equipment from property

G.D. Ritzy's, 4810 University Dr. 1 non-critical violation: walk-in freezer has ice accumulation, door does not seal properly

O'Brians Sports Bar & Grill, 1801 N. Green River Rd. 2 non-critical violations: some shelves soiled, kitchen floor soiled

Stop & Go, 520 S. Barker Ave. 5 non-critical violations: light shielding needed in kitchen and 3 compartment sink area; dry stock needs more lighting; remove unnecessary equipment and tools from property; walk-in refrigerator floor soiled; clean shelving under soda machine and coffee areas; soiled and old mice droppings present 

Right Stuff, 1321 N. Fulton Ave. 1 non-critical violation: restroom hand sink leaks and walk-in refrigerator has small leak

The Duffy Shuffle, 1203 E. Baseline Rd. 1 critical violation: must wash hands before putting gloves on

Thornton's #84, 813 N. St. Joseph Ave. 1 critical violation: ice guard soiled on ice machine

Pizza Depot, 2801 W. Boonville-New Harmony Rd. 1 non-critical violation: some table surfaces soiled.

    We have an update on a deadly fire in Ohio County.  Another child has died as a result of the mobile home fire that happened earlier this month.  Christin Henry posted the sad news on Facebook late Sunday. Ireland was seven-years-old. Her brother, four-year-old brother John-Ross Henry, died at the hospital two weeks ago.  Two-year-old Ivy Henry was found dead inside the home the day of the fire.     Crews finish final preparations for 2018 Vanderburgh county fair

    For a week now, crews have been putting up rides, tents, and stages at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center for the annual county fair. Officials say that preparations for this year's fair began immediately following the 2017 fair, but today was all about putting the finishing touches on the week-long event.
