Here are the latest food inspection reports (5/21) from the Vanderburgh County Health Department as submitted to WFIE:

Violations:

United HBA Corp-Marathon, 1905 W. Franklin St. 2 non-critical violations: restroom lacks disposable paper towels; paint wall where dry wall was repaired; paint shelving of cabinets under soda machine

24 Hour Diner, 520 First Ave. 1 critical violation: hand sink used as dump sink. 1 non-critical violation: grease trap log not up to date

Burger King #117, 4400 W. Lloyd Expressway. 2 non-critical violations: lacking grease trap maintenance log; replace caulking by sinks and replace ceiling tiles as needed

Franklin Street Tavern, 2126 W. Franklin St. 1 critical violation: hand sink used as a dump sink

Lee's Famous Recipe, 411 N. St. Joseph Ave. 1 non-critical violation: shelving and some wall coverings should be replaced so they are easily cleanable

Wesselmans-Royal, 1200 N. Fulton Ave. 1 critical violation: some display meat products not protected from cross contamination. 3 non-critical violations: deli display case not working as designed; some ceiling tiles throughout damaged or soiled; deli wall above three compartment sink and by fryer soiled

Break Time Bar & Grill, 1323 S. Barker Ave. 3 non-critical violations: beer reach-in has water accumulation on bottom; remove grill from back patio area; old mice droppings behind bar

Fazoli's #1756, 5232 Weston Rd. 1 critical violation: walk-in refrigerator not maintaining 41 degrees or below. 3 non-critical violations: walk-in refrigerator not working as designed; no thermometer in walk-in; dish machine soiled

    We have an update on a deadly fire in Ohio County.  Another child has died as a result of the mobile home fire that happened earlier this month.  Christin Henry posted the sad news on Facebook late Sunday. Ireland was seven-years-old. Her brother, four-year-old brother John-Ross Henry, died at the hospital two weeks ago.  Two-year-old Ivy Henry was found dead inside the home the day of the fire.     Crews finish final preparations for 2018 Vanderburgh county fair

    For a week now, crews have been putting up rides, tents, and stages at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center for the annual county fair. Officials say that preparations for this year's fair began immediately following the 2017 fair, but today was all about putting the finishing touches on the week-long event.
