Former school will be auctioned off

You have the chance to own your own school.

The former Beacon Central High School building in Daviess County will be auctioned next week. The building hasn't been used as a school since the high school moved to the Daymar College building in January. Auction officials say the building and more than 9 acres of property will be sold together. The building's furniture and equipment will be auctioned separately. Auction officials say the 64 year-old building is in great condition and people can see for themselves during an open house on Friday.
