Division II Elite Eight kicks off Wednesday at Ford Center

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - The Division II Elite Eight kicks off Wednesday at the Ford Center with special deals to help pack the arena.

Wednesday's quarterfinals start at noon with the No. 9 Mount Olive Trojans playing the No. 7 Tarleton State Texans. If you go to that game, you'll receive a special discount called, "The Working Lunch Special."

For $12, you get admission to the game and a $5 concession voucher.

If you want to see more than the noon game today, you can pay $15 for an adult single-session pass and $8 for a student single-session pass.

If you attended the quarterfinals last year, you'll notice there's a completely different set of eight teams this year.

For the basketball lovers planning to see who advances over the multiple days of tournament play, an all-sessions pass is available for $36.

If you're planning on going to see the nationally televised championship game, you'll want to buy tickets quickly. Evansville Sports Corp. director Jason Sands says ticket sales for that game have nearly doubled from last year.

Military members and kids ages six and under get in free.
