WABASH CO., IL (WFIE) -

Another day of searching and still no sign of a missing Wabash County man.

Officials say 22-year-old Aaron Salter of Keensburg, Illinois hasn't been seen since Friday afternoon.

The sheriff says Salter went for a ride on his off-road vehicle with his dog and never came home.

The dog showed up at a nearby house, and family members found Salter's vehicle in flood-waters near the Wabash River.

That's where several agencies have been teaming up to look for him.

Authorities believe Salter may have been swept into a larger area of water.

"We're still dragging, and we've had divers in the water and had the state police plane go over too, and we're just still looking for him,” said Sheriff Derek Morgan. “It's just frustrating. I really want to find him, you know, for the family members as well."

Sheriff Morgan says crews will continue to search as long as they can.

In the meantime, an online donation account has been set up to help the family.
