VANDERBURGH CO., IN (WFIE) - Loved ones gathered Monday to leave their memories of Logan Brown, the 15-year-old Reitz High School student who died in a crash on University Parkway.
Two other teens were seriously injured in the head-on collision.
Police say the other driver, Michael Gann, had a blood alcohol content four times the legal limit. He also remains in the hospital.
One family member is speaking out, saying she wished Michael Gann would've made better choices.
Amber Waddell was Logan's soon-to-be aunt and she says the one word that sums up how they feel? Shattered.
"Everyone I have spoken to the past few days tells me Logan was a great kid and a motivator."
Waddell says she can't imagine what Logan's parents are going through. She wishes Michael Gann thought twice before getting behind the wheel.
"These kids had no clue. No clue. and it is sad, it is very sad that someone doesn't have enough in them to say I don't need to drive and I have had too much or say you know I need to be a man or I need to be a bigger person and call someone or call a cab. Whatever it takes."
A neighbor established a GoFundMe page that has raised over $3,000.
