EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - With all of the schools canceling classes due to snow, we thought we'd check to see what the status of snow days is around the Tri-State. Here's what we've found so far: EVSC had three snow days built into the school year, but students will now be in class on those days as well as one extra day. They will make a final decision on how to make up their four snow days on Monday.

Henderson County has used all "bank" days and is adding May 20 and 21 to the calendar.

Owensboro Public Schools will dismiss on May 28. It was supposed to be May 20.

Daviess Co., KY Schools will let out on June 1. Makeup days include March 6 and April 3.Union County

  • February 13 was extended to a full day to make up one day
  • Extending the next last two early release days to full days (March 13th and May 18)
  • March 16th is a makeup day

Northeast Dubois, North Spencer, South Spencer, Tell City and Perry Central could end up adding another day if they are out of school on Friday.

North Gibson will end the school year on May 22 rather than May 21. Any more lost days will be added to the end of the year

South Gibson has used all of its snow days plus one extra day so far. The district is approved for “e-learning days”, so any more missed days will be made up on a scheduled weekend day.

Warrick County schools have used all of their flex days, so they will be adding a day to the end of the year. The last day will be May 26.

St. Philips Catholic school in Mt. Vernon will have e-Learning days on Saturdays until the end of the year which will allow the students to make up for the time lost due to weather, but still allow the summer vacations to start on time.
