The Muhlenberg County School Board is continuing to cut expenses for next school year. The board eliminated two counselors and an assistant superintendent position. School officials say the move will save the school district around 200 thousand dollars. School officials say so far more than 130 employees positions have been cut. School officials say more than 25 of those employees have already found jobs at other districts in the area. The district is facing an 8.5 million dollar deficit for next year.
