Sandbagging operations are continuing Tuesday in the southwest Indiana town of Hazleton.
County emergency management director Joe Deal says the levee in the town on the White River, about 35 miles north of Evansville, is saturated.
He says firefighters and National Guard troops are using sandbags to fill in a few small spots where water began washing out the levee.
Deal says no more than 30 people have been evacuated.
The river is expected to crest in Hazleton Wednesday morning.
