OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) - The Owensboro Science and History Museum has an exhibit dedicated to former U.S. Senator Wendell Ford.
A replica of his office on Capitol Hill is on the second floor of the museum.
Several people remember Ford as witty and funny, but he was also very firm in his values he learned growing up in Daviess County. He took those values to Washington D.C. for 24 years.
Ford's friends include an array of politicians, as well as the people he served.
Ford wasn't only influential among his close friends, but people in Daviess County, who didn't know him well, really looked up to him.
