MADISONVILLE, KY (WFIE) - A Madisonville woman is facing a list of charges after she's pulled over for having an active warrant.
Police say Kami Kembel tried to give them a false name and resisted arrest.
Officers say they used pepper spray on Kembel because she fought them.
They say she was also extremely combative at the hospital where she was taken to be treated for an injured lip.
Upon her arrival at the Hopkins County Jail, police say Kembel tried to get rid of a bag of synthetic drugs.
She was charged with contempt of court, public intoxication, giving officers a false name, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, possession of synthetic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, assault and promoting contraband.
Kembel is being held on $10,000 cash bond.
