Rain and Fog

After the freezing rain advisory was canceled Sunday, we're left with low clouds, fog and rain early this morning. Temperatures will stay above freezing in the mid to upper 30's this morning, and that will help improve the morning commute. Byron will have your back to work  forecast.

Deadly Posey County fire 

We'll update a fatal weekend fire in Mt. Vernon over the weekend which remains under investigation.

France attacks

France is mobilizing 10,000 security forces to protect the country after three days of terror attacks. France's defense minister says the deployment will begin Tuesday, and will focus on the most sensitive locations.

12 Months of Giving

November and December are busy months for businesses to collect donations and host give-backs. The Franklin Street Events Association decided they wanted to help those in need all year.  So they launched the 12 Months of Giving. Deanna Allbrittin will have the details.

Colts to AFC title game

Andrew Luck threw two touchdown passes as the Indianapolis Colts upset Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos 24-13 yesterday in the AFC playoffs. The Colts advanced to the AFC conference championship next weekend in New England.  The Packers advanced to meet Seattle for the NFC title by beating the Dallas Cowboys in Green Bay.

Golden Globes

The race is on for the Oscars, as the Hollywood awards season began last night with the Golden Globes. "Boyhood" now has to be considered an Oscar favorite, after winning the Golden Globe for best drama.  A recap on Sunrise.
