This evening longtime 14 News anchor David James will sign off air for the last time. He's retiring from WFIE after 41 years.  We'll share some thoughts and memories about David's time here this morning on Sunrise around 6:45.  We will miss you, David!

We're following the latest from Paris where there's an operation to detain two brothers suspected in the deadly storming of a French satirical newspaper that killed 12 on Wednesday.

Some snow possible

It will be a very cold end to the work week with temps about 20 degrees below normal. Temps will fall throughout the day. Byron says some scattered snow is possible this morning as well.  His weekend forecast is coming up on Sunrise.

Move over, 812. There's about to be a new area code in town. Details this morning on when the new area code will appear in the Tri-State and how it will effect local calls.

Monster Jam

It's going to get loud at the Ford Center this weekend. The big trucks are back in town for the 2015 Monster Jam! Deanna Allbrittin is Live at Sunrise to let us know what it takes to prep the huge trucks for the event.
