MADISONVILLE, KY (WFIE) - Former Kentucky State Representative, Ben Waide, and his attorney have parted ways.
Waide says he can no longer afford to pay his legal fees
He says their relationship is still good.
Waide was indicted in July, charged with knowingly accepting contributions from a corporation.
Kentucky Attorney General, Jack Conway, accuses Waide of mismanaging campaign finances.
He was allegedly funding his campaign with money from a company he co-owned in Madisonville.
Waide declined to comment regarding what's next for his case.
