Goodbye 2014, Hello 2015!

Goodbye 2014, Hello 2015!

Final preparations are underway for one of the biggest New Year's Eve parties in the world. The celebration in New York's Times Square seems to get more exciting and extravagant every year.  We'll have all the details on tonight's big event, plus info on festivities around the Tri-State.

Free cab rides

If you do plan to celebrate the start of 2015 tonight, you'll want to know about free cab rides being offered.  Those details are ahead on Sunrise.

Cold but dry end to the year

Meteorologist Eric Garlick says we can expect dry skies when the clock strikes midnight here in the Tri-State.  It will be a very cold start to the New Year, though, with overnight temps in the teens.  As for today, temperatures will struggle to make it into the 30s.  Eric's forecast is coming up.

Baby death investigation

A Warrick County couple is accused in the death of a baby born the first of this month.
23-year-old Ruby Stephens and her husband, 48-year-old Roy Stevens, are in a Florida jail facing first degree murder charges.

Grocery closes

A Tri-State grocery store that's been around for decades is now closed.  Why the owner says he had to make that decision is ahead on Sunrise.

We hope you'll join us on this final day of 2014!
