Owensboro Convention Center hosting first-ever New Year's Eve bash

OWENSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - To celebrate the first successful year and ring in a new one, the Owensboro Convention Center is hosting a New Year's Eve bash.

The 20's-inspired party is the first of its kind for the convention center and will run from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Tickets cost $50 per person and include a dinner with an Around-the-World theme, a glass of champagne for the midnight toast, party favors and entertainment.

The 2nd Street Big Band, a 19-piece ensemble of players from Owensboro and Evansville, will provide the music, playing both old and new favorites.

They will also have a speakeasy-style room and gambling with fake "funny" money.

You can buy the tickets at the Owensboro Convention Center box office or online by clicking here.
