Owensboro restaurant hosting free Christmas dinner

Imagine cooking for dozens of strangers for Christmas. An Owensboro restaurant is gearing up for the big day and it's a free, holiday meal. Bee Bop's Owner Samantha Ellison and her staff have been preparing all day for more than 200 people for tomorrow's dinner.

Ellison says she doesn't want anyone to miss Christmas dinner because they're alone or can't afford it. That's some of the reasons why Bee Bop's staff will be serving up some Christmas spirit. The restaurant plans to serve mash potatoes, turkey, ham, green beans, and other holiday foods for free. Any left overs will be donated to two local homeless shelters. Tomorrow's dinner will begin at 12 on Christmas Day and go until four o'clock.
