Here are the latest food inspection reports from the Vanderburgh County Health Department as submitted to WFIE:

Violations:

Tokyo Japan, 3000 N. Green River Road. One non-critical violation: no chemical test kit.

Show Me's, 1700 Morgan Ave. Three non-critical violations: wall behind dish machine needs cleaning and repair; side of fryers soiled; some shelves soiled.

Stop and Go, 520 S. Barker. Three critical violations: improper use of 3 compartment sink; lacking hand sink; lacking sanitizer. Three non-critical violations: lacking light shielding by ice machine and three compartment sink; lacking some ceiling tiles in back room, remove newspapers and clean shelving under register and under coffee.

Arby's, 4650 University Dr. One critical violation: wet wiping cloths lack sanitizer.  Two non-critical violations: lacking grease trap maintenance log; not utilizing sanitizer test kit.

Long John Silver's, 2519 First Ave. One critical violation: some gnats present throughout.

Aces High Snack Shop, 1 NW Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Three non-critical violations: light shielding in back room lacks end caps; fan on retail refrigerator not operating, service temperature borderline, mold growth; tea container soiled.

Taj Mahal, 900 Tutor Ln. One critical violation: items in walk-in not date marked. One non-critical violation: some food in walk-in not covered.

Greek's Pizzeria, 240 S. Green River Rd. One non-critical violation: prep table not maintaining temperature.

VFW Post 1114, 110 Wabash Ave. One non-critical violation: mops stored incorrectly.

    A Daviess County Elementary School honored one of its volunteers, 86 year old Helen Coombs.
