Eric Garner case

Protesters say the video of Eric Garner's death speaks for itself. But a Staten Island grand jury decided Wednesday not to bring charges against a New York City police officer who put in a chokehold a man he and other officers were trying to arrest for allegedly selling untaxed cigarettes on the street. The decision brought out thousands of protesters on to New York City's streets.

Rain moving in


14 Dual Doppler is tracking light rain moving in from our southwest. Rain is in the forecast today through Saturday morning with some breaks...but the sun will be tough to find. Temps will stay above freezing this morning. Byron has the complete 14 First Alert forecast.


Orion launch


NASA is beginning a journey scientists expect to end with astronauts on Mars. This morning the next generation of space exploration,  the Orion capsule, will launch from Kennedy Space Center. Live coverage of the launch on Sunrise.
