EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Say goodbye to I-164.
INDOT will begin replacing I-164 signs with I-69 in Vanderburgh and Warrick counties this week.
Officials say that all 29 miles should be renamed I-69 by the end of the year if the weather cooperates.
The I-69 corridor is divided into six sections.
The first three sections between Evansville and Crane opened in November 2012.
Section 4 between Crane and Bloomington is expected to open to traffic by the end of 2015.
State Road 37 between Bloomington and Martinsville will be rehabilitated and upgraded I-69 Section 5.
