2 Bosse students sign letters of intent

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Whether it's going to the big time or the small scene, college signing season is a special time of year.

For two of Bosse's finest, Thursday was extremely special, as they kept it in the family.

Cousins Kennedy Madison and Yamani Hunter, in front of a throng of well-wishers inked Division One deals this afternoon.

Madison, who helped lead Bosse to a sectional championship appearance, will continue her volleyball career at the College of Charleston.

Meanwhile, Madison's cousin Yamani Hunter, a state title winner in the long jump, is joining the powerhouse track team at Purdue.

"The coaching staff was really, really great. Not only did they care about what I did on the track. They really cared about what I did off the track and in the classroom and that's something I really need for next year. I think that's what drew me the most, is them really pushing the academics along with the athletics," said Hunter.

"I'm very excited for next year, for everything that I've done in high school. Just ready to go on and do big things in Charleston. I'm just really excited. That's all I can really say. I'm just beyond excited for everything," said Madison.
