Taking a Stand: United Way of Southwestern Indiana

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Last year alone, United Way of Southwestern Indiana and it's partner agencies touched the lives of over 83,000 people.

People need people. At United Way of Southwestern Indiana we exist simply to improve lives and create lasting change in our community.

We don't just donate or make quick fixes, we listen and work with our community to figure out what the needs are and make real change.

We can, with your support, put families on the road to reaching their full potential.

We believe focusing on education first is the best way out of poverty.

When we help children get the best start in life, we also help their financial stability, meet their basic needs and provide opportunities for a better life. We not only improve lives, we improve our community.

It's an exciting time at United Way as we are in the middle of our campaign. It is encouraging to see so many generous companies and individuals passionate about their community.

Every dollar counts and stays within our three county service area of Vanderburgh, Warrick and Spencer County.

What we need is you! We encourage you to give, advocate and volunteer, today!

You can check out our website unitedwayswi.org, follow us on social media, give us a call at 812.422-4100 or stop by and see us at 501 NW 4th Street...because GREAT THINGS HAPPEN WHEN WE LIVE UNITED.
