A record 26 million people are traveling this holiday, but mother nature isn't going to make it easy, on the ground.... or in the air.
Folks were playing the waiting game at Evansville Regional Airport Thursday. The airport was closed for a time, and when it did get open, road conditions were too bad to get there, and the local airlines cancelled a number of flights.
Evansville resident Karen Meacham was there, trying to get to Virginia for the holidays. "It's an inconvenience, but I would rather be safe than sorry. We'll see what happens next. We came preparaed with snacks and games, just in case."
