Rosine to get high-speed internet

ROSINE, KY (WFIE) - Residents of the small town of Rosine will soon have access to faster Internet.

The Green River Area Development District recently received a large grant to bring high speed Internet service to the area.

Q-Wireless plans to build the tower.

"The cost for this service will be around $30-$50 depending on what level of broadband they would like to receive this is a lot cheaper and easier to rely on then satellite service," said Jiten Shah.

No word yet on when work will start on the tower.
