Oakland City man charged with stalking teenage girls out of jail on bond

OAKLAND CITY, IN (WFIE) -

A Gibson County man charged with stalking two teenage girls is out of jail on bond.

Authorities in Oakland City say they've been investigating Danny Siekman and arrested him. They say it's not the first time there have been complaints against him. Danny Siekman is out of jail after posting a $1,500 bond.

The grandmother of the victim says her granddaughter only knows Siekman through his son.

She says her granddaughter began seeing more and more of Siekman and it soon turned scary.

She says Siekman would follow her granddaughter and her friend through Oakland City in his car. She says he would honk his horn at them and flash his lights.

She says her granddaughter was afraid to come home because she didn't want him to fine out where she lived.

The grandmother says he eventually did and that's when they filed a restraining order against him.

Oakland City police officers confirm they have had other complaints about Siekman but no other criminal charges have been filed.
