EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - The EVSC clothing bank, "Hangers", needs coats for kids.
Right now there are only 5 coats total for boys sizes medium through extra large.
Hangers director Barry Jones says it will be struggle to make it through to Thanksgiving.
The hope is to use money raised by the clothes for kids campaign to buy clothes and new coats.
Jones says 'new' is important because the coats often become hand-me-downs, "A lot of the kids have younger brothers and sisters, so when they leave with a new coast, more than likely there will be someone in that household next year that can wear that coat."
Jones says they plan to stretch the money raised by buying a lot of the clothes on Black Friday.
