EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Professional actors will be performing "Les Miserables" for free in Evansville and it's all because of one special boy who lost his life too soon.
Jacob Ball was only 12-years-old when he passed away after multiple strokes in May 2013.
His mother, Tiffany, started the Jacob Ball Wish Fund in his memory. It helps special-needs teachers who mentor kids like Jacob.
"They want to do things for their kids and they don't have the funding to do that, so that's kind of what we do. We help them do a little extra for their kids," Ball said.
There is no ticket required, no charge for admission, but donations are appreciated.
The performances Tuesday and Wednesday night start at 7:00 p.m at the Academy of Innovative Studies on Diamond Avenue.
